The surprise match-up between Serius Jones and Pat Stay didn't go down at KOTD's "Blackout 6" this past weekend, despite both emcees being in the building for both days. Pat said that he was unable to perform because of chronic issues with his larynx that are preventing him from projecting.

Serius Jones was eager to perform, and dropped BattleRap.com an exclusive look at his first round for the former KOTD champ.

Outside of KOTD’s "Battles At The Bunker," on July 23, Lu Cipher caught up with The Deadman to discuss how the Marlo battle came about, writing for an international opponent and wanting to battle in different countries.

Coming off his return to the U.S., Marlo spoke with Lu Cipher, revealing that his battle with The Deadman came about because he had to come to a wedding in LA and couldn’t afford a plane ticket. He also gives the vaguest possible preview for what he has coming up.

Fresh off what could reasonably be described as the strangest style clash in battle history with Carter Deems, Harlem legend Head I.C.E caught up with Frak to recap the "Back To Basics 4" battle in Los Angeles on April 16. Carter joins briefly too.
